Hello, I’m Zanfre’ Ane’ Meyer! I am currently advancing my studies with a Master’s degree in Human Physiology at the University of Stellenbosch, where I specialize in bio-inspired nano-based drug delivery systems aimed at treating a variety of human diseases and disorders. I hold a BSc in Human Life Science and a BSc (Hons) in Human Physiology, both completed cum laude at the same institution. I graduated from Grantleigh College in KZN in 2019, following the IEB curriculum, with an impressive overall average of 80%. My academic strengths were highlighted in my subject scores, particularly Afrikaans FAL (96%) and Life Orientation (93%).
During my high school years, I was actively involved in leadership roles, serving as the Head Girl and a member of the Student Christian Association, and I participated in the Student Representative Council (SRC). In university, I continued to engage in extracurricular activities, including mentoring at Equite’ PSO and currently serving as the secretary of the Bio-IDD research group.
I have a passion for teaching and particularly enjoy working with students from grades 6 to 10. This phase is crucial for developing strong learning and conceptual understanding skills, areas where I love to make a significant impact. Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, I offer tutoring in Afrikaans, Biology, Mathematics, and Science. I am also available to assist with EMS, Life Orientation, and Social Sciences for younger students.
Outside the academic sphere, I cherish the simpler pleasures in life, such as hiking, beach strolls, enjoying a pastry with a good cup of coffee, or camping under the stars next to a crackling fire. As a sports lover and fitness enthusiast, I balance the rigor of academic pursuits with physical activity, believing in a holistic approach to health and well-being.
