About Stellenbosch Tutors

Stellenbosch Tutors was started by Maties who were already tutoring school learners around town and wanted to do it properly. We are based in Stellenbosch and most of our tutors went to school or study here.

Learners get further when the lessons are built around what they are actually stuck on. We tutor from Grade 1 through matric and on into university subjects, and match each learner to a tutor who got a distinction in that subject. The goal is a learner who can do the work on their own by the end of it.

We are small enough that the person who takes your enquiry knows the tutors personally. We stay in touch with parents about what is working and what is not.

If you are not sure what your child needs, tell us where they are getting stuck and we will suggest someone.
