About Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda Phama, a fourth-year BSc Agrisciences student specialising in plant and soil sciences. I tutor Mathematics, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and English FAL for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I discovered my love for Life Sciences and agriculture in high school, where I often found myself helping classmates work through concepts they were struggling with. That's what got me into tutoring, I like breaking things down so they actually make sense, not just helping students memorise them.

Outside of studying and tutoring I enjoy reading, hiking, exploring new music and trying out new recipes, along with travelling.
