About Amy
Hi, I'm Amy van Rooyen. I'm in my third year of a BSc in Sport Science at Stellenbosch University and I tutor for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.
I have over five years of experience coaching children and teenagers, which taught me how to explain things clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive, encouraging environment. I'm patient, reliable and well-organised, and I believe every student can succeed with the right support.
I've helped second-year university students with Biochemistry, working on complex concepts, study techniques and exam prep. Outside of academics I enjoy fitness, running and competing in HYROX events, which have built the discipline and work ethic I bring to every session.
