Andy Myburg

Hi, I'm Andy Myburg, and I'm studying a BCom in Economic Sciences at Stellenbosch University. I tutor Mathematics, Life Sciences, Economics and English Home Language for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I finished matric with an average above 85%, having taken English HL, Afrikaans HL, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Accounting, Economics and History, two extra subjects on top of the usual load. Alongside academics I swam competitively, did debating and was under-head boy, so I know what it's like to balance a heavy workload with everything else going on.

I tutored classmates and Grade 10 learners in high school and helped guide their subject choices, and I'm currently tutoring a learner at Paul Roos Gymnasium. Because I've worked through these subjects myself, I know where students tend to get stuck, and my focus is on helping them rebuild confidence, not just push up marks.
