Caitlin Pfister

Hi, I'm Caitlin Pfister, and I'm doing a BA in Humanities at Stellenbosch University, working towards specialising in psychology. I tutor Mathematics, Business Studies, English Home Language and History for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I originally started a BCom (Law) degree in 2022 and studied it for two years before personal circumstances meant I had to cut back on my study load. That experience showed me my real interest was in helping people, which is what led me to Humanities and psychology. I have a strong interest in understanding how people think and learn, and in making the jump from matric to university less overwhelming, since the difference is huge.

I've tutored a Grade 4 learner across their full curriculum, given English lessons to a German-speaking client, and tutored someone in Maths Literacy. I've also job-shadowed my mom while she taught History and Geography to Grade 6 and 7 classes. I can help with the subject content itself as well as study methods, time management and goal setting.
