Chante Zwiegers

Hi, I'm Chante Zwiegers, a third-year Biomedical Mathematical Sciences student at Stellenbosch University. I tutor Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences and Engineering Graphics and Design for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I matriculated from Paarl Gymnasium in 2023 with an 86% average, including 88% for Life Sciences, 84% for Physical Sciences, 80% for Mathematics and 88% for EGD. Since then I've taken university modules in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Physiology, which gives me a deeper understanding of how the subjects I tutor connect to each other.

I've been tutoring for three years, working with learners from Grade 8 through to Matric in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biology and EGD. A lot of my work involves going back to basics when a learner is struggling and rebuilding their understanding step by step. I've worked with students who want consistent weekly support as well as those who only come to me closer to exams, so I've learned to adapt quickly to what each student actually needs.

My goal is to make difficult topics feel more approachable, in a relaxed but focused environment where students are comfortable asking questions and can work at their own pace.
