Emile Badenhorst

Hi, I'm Emile Badenhorst, and I'm studying Data Science with a focus on Statistical Learning at Stellenbosch University. I tutor Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Accounting and Information Technology for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I achieved 5 out of 7 distinctions in matric at an IEB school in Pretoria. I'm still fairly new to tutoring, with around 20 hours of one-on-one experience so far, currently teaching Grade 10 Mathematics and Physical Sciences under CAPS. I like to get the fundamentals solid first, then build confidence through worked examples and exam-style practice, using notes and practice papers I prepare for each student.

I've done horse riding five times a week for the last ten years, which has taught me a lot about commitment, and that's something I bring into my tutoring too. I'm early in my tutoring journey and genuinely keen to keep improving alongside my students.
