Jodi Jefferys

Hi, I'm Jodi Jefferys, and I tutor Mathematics and Accounting for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch and online. I'm completing my Master of Engineering Science in Biomedical Engineering at Stellenbosch University, after a BSc in Biomedical Mathematics and an Honours in Applied Mathematics.

I really enjoy working with students and helping them feel more confident in subjects they find challenging. Everyone learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to whatever works for you, whether that means slowing things down, working through lots of examples, or focusing on an upcoming test.

My tutoring experience includes one-on-one Grade 11 Maths and Grade 11 Accounting tutoring, working as a Learning Assistant at Stellenbosch University supporting first years in Applied Mathematics and Probability Theory & Statistics, helping a first-year student prepare for maths exams, and peer tutoring throughout high school and university.

I want my lessons to be relaxed and interactive, a space where you feel comfortable asking as many questions as you need, so you leave understanding the work rather than just memorising it.
