Makgathu Mabotha

Hi, I'm Makgathu Mabotha. I'm in my third year of BCom Actuarial Science at Stellenbosch University, and I tutor Mathematics, Accounting, Economics and Life Sciences for Grades 1 to 12.

I love numbers and problem solving, and I enjoy helping others understand concepts they find difficult and build confidence in what they can do. I tutored in high school, helping classmates and learners in lower grades with subjects they found challenging, explaining things simply and helping with homework, exam prep and study tips. That's where I developed patience and learned to adapt my explanations to how different people learn.

Outside of tutoring I'm into music and reading, staying active, and having good conversations, and I try to keep learning both effective and enjoyable.
