Mia Rautenbach

Hi, I'm Mia Rautenbach. I'm in my first year of Mathematical Sciences at Stellenbosch University, and I tutor Mathematics and Physical Sciences for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I matriculated from St Dominic's Priory School in 2024, where I was Head Girl and received the DUX learner award alongside a range of academic, musical and leadership activities. I have a strong interest in critical thinking and problem-solving.

In Grade 11 I helped run a school tutoring programme, working with Grade 8 students on Maths individually and in small groups to build their understanding of key concepts. I've also volunteered at Holiday Clubs teaching religious studies to young children, which gave me practice writing lesson plans and simplifying ideas for a younger audience.

My approach is supportive and adaptable. I tailor lessons to each learner so that complex concepts become clear and approachable.
