About Michael
Michael Roux here. I'm a third-year Mechatronic Engineering student at Stellenbosch University, and I tutor Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Geography for Grades 1 to 12.
I matriculated in 2023 with seven distinctions and have always had a soft spot for Maths and Physical Sciences. Studying an academically demanding degree has taught me how much it helps to actually be interested in what you're learning, so as a tutor I don't just show students how to solve a problem, I show them why the concept matters and where it's used in the real world.
If you've ever asked yourself why you need to learn all this weird mathematics, I'm the tutor for you. In matric I privately tutored friends and younger students in Maths and Physics, and helped others prepare for various other subjects too.
