Okuhle Mpeta

Hi, I'm Okuhle Mpeta. I'm in my third year of BSc Chemistry at Stellenbosch University, and I tutor English Home Language, Information Technology, Mathematics and Physical Sciences for Grades 1 to 12.

I'm patient and I care about students actually understanding their work, not just getting through it, so I break challenging concepts into simple explanations that stick. I've worked with high school students and understand the pressure that comes with final exams, so my approach is supportive but structured, comfortable enough to ask questions while still keeping students focused and accountable.

I currently tutor a group of boys at Paarl Boys' High privately, and I volunteer twice a month tutoring primary school learners. Both have taught me to adapt my teaching to different ages and learning styles while building confidence and independent thinking.
