About Shalom

Hi, I'm Shalom Kasongo. I'm in my third year of BSc Human Life Sciences, and I tutor English Home Language, History, Life Sciences and Mathematics for Grades 1 to 12.

I've got several years of tutoring experience across English, History, Life Sciences, Mathematics and intermediate French, starting with high school learners in both school and private settings. During the COVID era I built up my skills teaching virtually, learning how to keep students engaged over a screen, and I've continued tutoring both in person and remotely since.

I also volunteer my tutoring to students from different backgrounds, because I believe good teaching can genuinely make a difference. My science background gives me a structured, analytical way of planning lessons, whatever the subject.
