About Ziyanda

Hi, I'm Ziyanda Mtembu, and I tutor English and Natural Sciences and Technology for Grades 1 to 12 in Cape Town and online. I hold a BEd in Education from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

I currently teach Grade 7 learners across various subjects, excluding Mathematics and Afrikaans, as well as English and Natural Sciences and Technology to Grade 6. I'm also the SBST (School-Based Support Team) Coordinator at my school, where I support colleagues by developing intervention strategies for learners who are struggling, and I handle planning, moderating and marking assessments.

My tutoring experience comes from classroom intervention with learners who need extra support, and I've also volunteered to help learners from other schools with their homework.
