About Andrea
Hi, I'm Andrea Hugo, and I'm in my second year of LLB at Stellenbosch University. I tutor History for Grades 1 to 12, along with Mathematics, Afrikaans, English, Business Studies and Geography.
I'm originally from Namibia and finished my IEB matric with an 88% overall average, including top student for Business Studies, English and Life Skills. I speak Afrikaans and English fluently and German at an intermediate level. I believe testing yourself constantly, verbally or by getting someone to quiz you, is the best way to actually learn something, and I build that into how I teach.
I tutored my fellow students in high school for free because I genuinely enjoyed it, and I'm currently a registered tutor at Stellenbosch University for Foundations of Law. My dream is to become a lecturer one day, so tutoring is something I want to keep doing.
