About Catherine
Hi, I'm Catherine Kies, and I'm in my third year of Mechatronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University. I tutor Engineering Graphics and Design, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Mathematics and Physical Sciences for Grades 1 to 12.
Biology, Mathematics and IT have always been among my favourite subjects, and I'm curious about how they come together to solve real world problems, which is part of why I want to pursue a Master's in Biomedical Engineering after my degree. I matriculated in 2023 from Hoer Meisieskool Bloemhof with eight distinctions and an overall average of 90.33%.
I tutored through the programme at HMS Bloemhof for two years, helping students with Mathematics, IT, EGD and Biology, and I love helping others discover that they can actually enjoy learning these subjects.
