About Emma-Louise

Hi, I'm Emma-Louise van der Sandt. I'm a BSc Human Life Sciences graduate currently completing my PGCE at Stellenbosch University, and I tutor Life Sciences, Afrikaans Home Language, English FAL and Mathematics Literacy for Grades 1 to 12.

I've got a solid academic foundation in the biological sciences and I like explaining things in a clear, structured way so students actually understand the content, not just memorise it for the test. I'm organised and dependable, and I want learners to feel comfortable asking questions rather than sitting quietly when they're confused.

I've tutored a Grade 8 learner with learning difficulties, adapting my lessons to suit their specific needs and pace, and while working as an au pair I helped a Grade 5 and a Grade 8 learner with homework, test prep and revision.
