Erin Moses

Hi, I'm Erin Moses, a final-year Molecular Biology and Biotechnology student at Stellenbosch University, majoring in Genetics and Biochemistry. I tutor Life Sciences and Physical Sciences for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I'd rather help a student actually understand a concept than just memorise it, and I try to make complex topics clear and approachable rather than intimidating.

I haven't tutored formally before, and my own matric results don't really reflect where I'm at now. Since then my degree has given me a much deeper understanding of the Life Sciences, including strong results in university-level Chemistry, Biometry and Microbiology, plus a lot of practical lab experience. Working alongside demonstrators and tutors at university has also shown me what actually works when it comes to teaching.
