About Lara
Hi, I'm Lara Oosthuizen, and I'm in my second year of BEd Intermediate Phase at Stellenbosch University. I tutor Life Sciences for Grades 1 to 12, along with Afrikaans, English, History, Economics and Maths Literacy.
I took two gap years after matric. In the first I waitressed, tutored and babysat, and in the second I au paired in the Netherlands. I have a real interest in teaching, and my dream is to travel and teach in different countries one day.
As an au pair in both the Netherlands and South Africa I helped primary school learners with homework, assignments and test preparation, and this year I started tutoring two first-year education students in Mathematics.
