About Miguette

Miguette Malan here. I'm a first-year BA Law student at Stellenbosch University, and I tutor Afrikaans Home Language, English Home Language and History for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I've always loved languages and theatre, and I currently have Afrikaans and Dutch as university modules. Throughout high school I ranked between the top 3 and top 20 in my grade, and I won subject prizes for placing first in Afrikaans Home Language, English Home Language, History and Dramatic Arts. I took part in the National English Olympiad every year of high school, and one of my Afrikaans essays was published in an anthology in matric.

I don't have formal tutoring experience yet, but I know the subject matter well and I'm genuinely keen to help. Outside of academics I love hiking, spending time with family and friends, and reading.
