About Varaidzo

Hi, I'm Varaidzo Meso Kahari. I'm in my second year of BCom Management Sciences, majoring in Financial Management, at Stellenbosch University, and I tutor English Home Language and History for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

I attended St John's College Sixth Form in Johannesburg, where I completed A-Levels in History, Mathematics and Economics, and AS-Levels in English Language and Literature, Mathematics, History, Chemistry and Physics. Before that, I studied at Alma Mater International School in Krugersdorp, completing IGCSEs in English Literature, English Language, Geography, History, Business Studies, Mathematics, French, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

History and English, both language and literature, are the subjects I'm most drawn to tutoring, especially at IGCSE and A-Level or AS-Level standard, given my background in them.

I volunteered as a tutor through St John's College's community service initiative, teaching English and Maths to children from less fortunate backgrounds in 2024, and I've mentored through ProjectWok, a programme equipping youth in Papua New Guinea with workforce skills.
