Siobhan de Bruyn

Siobhan de Bruyn here. I'm an LLB student at Stellenbosch University, and I tutor Art, English Home Language and History for Grades 1 to 12 in Stellenbosch.

My tutoring journey started in high school, where I was selected as a peer tutor, a role reserved for high-achieving students, teaching English, Afrikaans, History and Art History. I've also taught online art classes, planning lessons that combine practical and theoretical knowledge. While working as an au pair, I helped my host children with primary school homework in English, Maths and Science.

I've worked with learners from primary school through to high school across a range of subjects, and I try to build a supportive, personalised learning environment, adapting how I teach to suit each student, whether that means breaking down a tough concept or working on study technique and confidence.
